Studies on the dissociation equilibria of 3,6-bis-(methyleneiminodiacetic acid) catechol and he stability of its alkaline earth, manganese(II), cadmium(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II), copper(II), Iron(III), Thorium(IV) and uranium(VI) complexes

Protonation and stability constants for the title complexes were determine pH-metrically at 25?and ionic strength 0.1 (KNO3). The nature of metal ion coordination in these chelates is discussed. An acid dissociation equilibrium scheme is presented for the title ligand.
