In this paper, SAPO-34 was microwave-assisted synthesized with diethylamine as the structure-director, and the synthesized samples were calcined under air and nitrogen at 1073 K respectively. The surface effect of carbon modified SAPO-34 under a nitrogen atmosphere and its adsorption ability to water/methanol/ethanol were studied. The results showed that the BET surface area and pore volume decrease, while pore diameter tends to be uniform on carbon-modified SAPO-34. Water-adsorption weight decreased from 0.295 g/g to 0.180 g/g, and the adsorption ratio of methanol/ethanol increased from 1.42 to 2.81 on the samples of carbon-modified SAPO-34 comparing with SAPO-34.
