The crystal structure of the addition product of acrolein with sodium bisulfate has an orthounit cell with a=18.24Å,b=7.05 Åand c=4.77 Å,which contains 2[(CH2CHCHO)(2NaHSO3)(4H2O)].The space group is very likely D2h13-P(21/m)(21/m)(2/n).However,the related space group C27 is not yet conclusively excluded.
