π-二苯铬(O)苯溶液的氧化反应

The oxidative reaction of π-bis(benzene) chromium (o) in benzene solution

Oxidative reaction of π-bis(benzene)chromium(O) with hydrogen peroxide in neutral benzene solution yielded a red needle crystalline product with a melting point of 71`C, which was identified as phenoquinone by DSC, elemental analysis, IR, MS and ^1H NMR. The mechanism of this oxidative reaction is suggested as follows: π-bis(benzene)chromium(O) in benzene solution is oxidized by hydrogen peroxide to form high valence chromic ions, which oxidizes benzene to produce phenoquinone.
