Preliminary study on diphosphorus compounds bridged with N,N'-unsymmetrical substituted urea

Abstract

Two new diphosphorus compounds I (R = Et, Ph) were prepared, which involve a novel structural element l4P+-l4P- with two N,N'-unsym. substituted urea as bridged group. These compounds were characterized on the basis of MS, NMR, IR, and elementary anal., especially 31P NMR anal. The effect of the substituted group in bridged urea ring on the l4P+-l4P- bond were discussed.
