铅-铝与铁-银二系统的液态溶解度很小,熔化时分为二层,故可测定银在铅与铝间及铝在铁与银间的分配比。根据文献中已有的分配数据,铅-银相及有关热化学数据,作者等计算了铅-银,银-铝及铁-铝等液态二元系统中的活度。最后作者等算出了铝脱氧反应的平衡常数,与Gokcen & Chipman的实验数据大致相符,惟温度系数尚不能确定,有待将来研究。

In this paper, the activity coefficient of aluminum in liquid iron with reference to pure liquid aluminum as the standard state is calculated from existing thermal and distribution data with certain assumptions. First, the silver-lead equilibrium diagram is used to obtain the activity coefficient of silver in liquid lead. Next, the data of Wright and of Lorentz and Erbe on the distribution of silver between liquid lead and aluminum are combined with the foregoing to obtain the activity coefficient of silver in liquid aluminum and therefore aluminum in liquid silver. Chipman's data on the distribution of aluminum between liquid iron and silver are then utilized to obtain the activity coefficient of aluminum in liquid iron. Finally, the aluminum deoxidation constant is calculated and compared with the experimental value obtained by Gokcen and Chipman.
