Factors effecting the relative intensities of Raman lines are experimentally investigated and conditions for quantitative analysis of petroleum fractions discussed. The line intensities for benzene, toluene, cyclohexane tabulated and compared with those and methylcyclohexane measured under such conditions are tabulated and compared with those measured by Bajulin. It is seen that the results obtained in our laboratory are in good agreement with those of Bajulin.
