7,9双重不饱和胆酸(Ⅰa)[1]是人工合成副肾皮素(cortisone)的中间物之一。我们用无水甲醇通氯化氢气体使其酯化时,发现生成物并非正常的酯化物,与(Ⅰb)[1]并非同一物质。

In an attempt to esterify the △7,9 lithocholadienic acid (Ia) by treatment with methanolic hydrogen chloride, a compound having probably the structure Ⅳ is formed. The compound after absorption of one mole of hydrogen is transformed into a dihydro derivative having the structure Ⅵ, Ⅶ or Ⅷ.Their structures are discussed, and experiments are under way to prove them by synthesis from apocholic acid.
