在我们的工作中,需要知道含两个邻位羟基的芳香酸酯与氨作用的结果。据Metz-ner[1]报告,将1,3-二羟基-2-萘甲酸乙醋(Ⅰ)与浓氨水溶液在封管中作用,所得主要产物据称是氨基-羟基-萘甲酸乙酯(Ⅳ),熔点168—172°,氨基的位置未经指明。将Ⅰ与苯胺作用,据称得到的是3-苯氨基-1-羟基-2-萘甲酸乙酯(Ⅴ)。对於化合物Ⅳ及Ⅴ的结构,Metzner除元素分析外,均无其它证明,但分析并不符合。

The products obtained by the action of ethyl 1,3-dihydroxy-2-naphthoatc with ammcmia and aniline are shown to be 1,3-dihydroxy-2 naphthamide(Ⅱ) and 1,3-dihydroxy-2-naphthanilide (Ⅲ) respectively instead of ethyl 3-amino-1-hydroxy-2-naphthoate and ethyl 3-anilino-1-hydroxy-2-naphthoate,as originally assigned by Metzner.The amide(Ⅱ)forms dimethyl ether which can be dehydrated to the corresponding nitrile.
