本文以C20构型已知的猪去羟胆酸为原料,合成胆固醇的C24-乙基衍生物,企图获得C24异β-麦胚甾醇,以与γ-麦胚甾酵进行比较,从而确定后者的C20的构型.但结果只获得β-麦胚甾醇.

In order to determine the configuration at C20 of γ-sitosterol by the conventional chemical method of correlation of configuration,a synthesis of 24-ethyl cholesterol using hyodesoxycholic acid (Ⅳ) as the starting material has been carried out.The series of reactions involved is as follows:IV→Va→Vb→Vc→Vd →VIc→VIf→Ⅷ→VIg→VIh→VIi→24-ethyl cholesterol.However,the final product was found to be β-sitosterol instead of the expected 24-iso-β-sitosterol.
