δ,δ'-硫代二戊酸酯可以代替脂肪酸酯作为多种塑料特别是聚氯乙烯的增塑料剂;也可以作为油类添加剂[1,2]前人巳经合成δ,δ'-硫代二戊酸的甲酯、乙酯、正丁酯、正己酯、正庚酯及正辛酯等[3,4]。

Three δ,δ'-thiodivalerates of the general type S[(CH2).4CO2R]2(R=s-C4H9-,s-C121H13- and s-C8H17-),not previously reported in the literature,have been prepared by esteriffication of δ,δ'-thiodivaleric acid with the corresponding secondary alcohols.The yields were between 70% and 80%.
