摘要

用弹性光散射方法研究了间规聚苯乙烯(s-PS)的非等温冷结晶行为和等温结晶动力学. 结果表明, 弹性散射信号对s-PS 的冷结晶过程中的构象变化非常敏感. 弹性散射法所得的大分子链玻璃化转变温度Tg 以及冷结晶温度Tc 与DSC 的测量结果一致. 此外, 通过散射强度随温度的变化可以更为清晰地分辨出冷结晶过程中各个阶段, 包括晶体成核期, 晶核生长期以及二次结晶期. 通过等温弹性散射测试, 同时结合Arrhenius 方程, 计算得到s-PS 冷结晶表观活化能Ea 为309 kJ/mol.

Abstract

The cold-crystallization behavior of syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS) and its isothermal kinetics were studied by elastic scattering method in this work. It was shown that the scattering signal was very sensitive to the conformational change of sPS chains upon heating. The glass transition temperature (Tg) and cold-crystallization temperature (Tc) obtained by elastic scattering were in good agreement with those measured by DSC method. In addition, it can be clearly observed in the plot of temperature-dependent scattering intensity, there are several stages during the cold-crystallization process, i.e., nucleation phase, nucleus growth phase and secondary crystallization phase. By using isothermal scattering data and Arrhenius equation, the apparent activation energy of cold-crystallization of sPS was estimated to be 309 kJ/mol.
