Two series of piperazines, namely α,ω-bis(1-substituted-4-piperazyl) alkanes hydrochlorides and 1,2-bis(1'-substituted-4'-piperazyl ethoxy) ethane hydrochlorides, have been prepared for the purpose of screening their chemo-therapeutic activity toward Schistosomiasis Japonica in experimentally infected animals.
