Anisodamine(trade name "654") is an alkaloid isolated from the medicinal plant Anisocwus tanguticus.(Maxim) Pascher.On the basis of pharmacological and clinical studies,anisodamine as a new anticholinergio drug,may be used for the treatment of acute microoironlatory disturbances.Based on chemioal studies,anisodamine was identified as 6 -hydrogyhyosoyamine and the stereoconfiguration of the hydroxy-group is 6S.It is one of the major constituents in Anisodus tangutieus(Maxim) Pascher.
