Abstract

The bis-3'-pentadecylbenzo-15-C-5 bisamides I (Z = phenylene, alkylene, CH2OCH2, etc.) were synthesized by the condensation of 5'-amino-3'-pentadecylbenzo-15-C-5 with diacyl chlorides in dry benzene. Their structures were confirmed by elemental anal., IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectrum data.
