Preparation and molecular structure of {[Ag(ATO)~2]ClO~4}~n

{[Ag(ATO)~2]ClO~4}~n was prepared by mixing hte aqueous solutions of 4-amino-1, 2, 4-triazol-5-one and silver perchlorate. The product was characterized by thermal analysis, TG-DTG, element analysis, and IR measurement. The crystal structure of [Ag(ATO)~2]ClO~4 was determined by single crystal diffraction analysis. The crystal is triclinic, space group P1 with crystal parameters of a=0.7534(1)nm, b=0.8505(1) nm, c=1.0257(1)nm; α=69.47(1)ⅲ, β=72.69(1)ⅲ, γ=86.00(1)ⅲ; V=0. 5872(1)nm^3, Z=2, D~c=2.305g/cm^3, F(000)=400. The final R is 0.0358. The silver ion represents three coordination geometry with three different nitrogen atoms.
