Study on the Promoting Role of Catalytic Amount of OP Emulsion Agent in Crystallization of THF-FER Zeolite

Pure phase ferrierite (FER) zeolite was hyhrothermally synthesized with tetrahydrofuran (THF) as the template in the presence of catalytic amount of OP emulsion agent in the reactant system of THF-Na2O-SiO2-Al2O3-H2O. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), 13C cross polarization (CP) and 27Al magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS NMR), X-ray fluorescence scattering spectroscopy (XRF) and nitrogen sorption were used to characterize the synthesized product. The catalytic amount of OP added in the reactant system has played a promoting role in the zeolite crys-tallization, reducing the reaction temperature, shortening the synthesis time and restraining the coexistence of mordenite (MOR) phase.
