Abstract

Treating Ph3P:CHOR (R = Ph, 4-ClC6H4), obtained from Ph3P+CH2OR Cl- and PhLi, with R1COR2 (R1 = CF3, 4-FC6H4, C3F7; R2 = Me, Ph, H) gave 64-92% R1R2C:CHOR.
