Interaction of dibenzo-18-crown-6 with alkali picrates in chloroform

Abstract

A method for determine some parameters in the interaction of dibenzo-18-crown-6 with alkali picrates in CHCl3 was examined These parameters are limiting molar conductances of the complexes, L0, complex dissociation constants, Kd, stoichiometric ratio of crown ether to picrate in the complex, complexation constant of crown ether with picrate, Kc, and saturation concentration of alkali picrate tight ion pair in the presence of crown ether, [MA].
