Synthesis of estrogenic steroid-porphyrins and their metal complexes

Abstract

Steroid-porphyrins I (R = OH, R1 = H, CYCH; RR1 = O) have been synthesized and their Co(II), Zn(II), Mn(II) and Fe(II) complexes have also been synthesized. All these products are new compounds Their structures were confirmed by UV-VIS, IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy and elementary anal.
