Synthesis of esters of macrocyclic arsinous acid

Abstract

Bis(dimethylamino)alkylarsine was prepared by reaction of dichloroalkylarsine with dimethylamine. The reaction of the bis (dimethylamino)alkylarsine with diols led to formations of esters of macrocyclic arsinous acid and that with dithiols led to formation of esters of macrocyclic arsindithious acid.
