Trimethylphenyl phosphate was synthesized using TiSiW_(12)O_(40) /TiO_2 as the catalyst. The results obtained indicate that the catalyst possesses a fairly high catalytic activity for the esterification reaction. The effects of the amount of the catalyst, reaction temperature and reaction time on the yield of the ester have been investigated. The yield of trimethylphenyl phosphate under die typical reaction conditions (catalyst: raw material =1.0% at 100 ~ 120 ℃ for 8.0 h ) is 85. 5 %. The catalyst can be easily recovered and reused to give almost the same yield of the esterified product as that given by fresh TiSiW_(12)O_(40)/TiO_2
