Synthesis of New 4,5-Dihydro-2',5'-dioxo-pyrrolino[4,5-c]isoxazole Derivatives by 1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition Reaction

Two series of new 4,5-dihydro-2',5'-dioxo-pyrrolino[4,5-c]isoxazoles have been synthesized by the reactionof N-arylmaleimides with nitrile oxide, prepared from 1,2,3-triazoly-4-hydroximoyl chloride and quinoxalinyl-2-hydroximoyl chloride in situ through 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction. The structures of all new compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and MS spectral data.
