Asymmetric cyclopropanation

Abstract

A review with 26 refs. Asym. cyclopropanation reactions e.g. the Simmons-Smith reaction as well as catalyzed thermal decomposition of diazo-compds., isopropylidenetriphenylphosphine and some organometallic compounds were discussed. These methods are examplified by the synthesis of cyclopropanecarboxylic acids.4
