消旋-反式-1-对硝基苯-2-氨基-1,3-丙二醇(I),可用L-型及D-型麸胺酸为拆开剂,拆开其D-及L-反式-(I)。LL-及DD-麸胺酸盐在稀酒精中的溶解度较LD-及DL麸胺酸盐为小。故用D-麸胺酸为拆开剂,可以获得产量较高的拆开。

The resolution of DL-threo-1-p-nitrophenyl-2-amino-1,3-propanediol (I) with natural L-glutamic acid as well as synthetic D-glutamic acid has been described. The L-(I)-L-glutamate and D-(I)-D-glutamate are less soluble in dilute alcohol than D-(I)-L-glutamate and L-(I)-D-glutamate. The D-threo-(I) liberated from D-(I)-Land D-(I)-D-glutamate is identical in melting point and specific rotation as that described in literature.
