在前文[1]所述利用四氧化三钴为氧化剂的微量测氮法中,固定氧化填充剂经长期使用后并无显著的消耗现象,因此推想样品的分解氧化全部或绝大部分是在称量管(文献[1],图1,管6)内进行。为研究样品在称量管内分解氧化的情形,我们取消固定氧化填充层,使样品的分解仅赖称量管内的临时填充层进行。

The method of microdetermination of nitrogen in organic compounds described in a previous paper is further simplified by eliminating the permanent oxidizing filling. Heterocyclic compounds, aliphatic compounds with relatively long chain and ordinary fluorine-containing compounds have been analyzed with good results. The method can therefore be used for routine analysis. When the length of the capsule containing the sample is increased so that more temporary oxidizing filling can be used and the time for the combustion of the sample is lengthened, satisfactory results can also be obtained on highly fluorinated and perfluoro compounds, and compounds with condensed rings and angular methyl groups.
