Synthesis and Characterization of Some Novel Phenylene-bisethynlene Based Copolymers Containing Donor-acceptor Segments for Photovoltaic Applications

摘要:通过钯催化的Heck偶联缩聚反应,合成出了两种新的主链含对苯二乙炔,2-吡喃-4-烯-丙二腈衍生物的共轭聚合物。目标聚合物在一般有机溶剂中具有很好的溶解性;聚合物和TiO2组成的体相异质结薄膜表现出强的光诱导效应;电化学和光化学研究表明聚合物的能隙在1.7-1.85ev。这些表明它们是一类很有潜力的光伏材料。

Abstract A series of novel copolymers derived from phenylene-bisethynlene and 2-pyran-4-ylidene-malononitile (PM) were synthesized successfully through palladium-catalyed Heck-cross coupling reaction. All of the copolymers exhibited excellent solubility in common organic solvents. The PL spectra of copolymer P2:TiO2 bulk-heterojunction decreased with increasing amount of Ti (OC3H7)4 compared to that of a pristine copolymer film. This indicates the existence of strong photoinduced electronic interactions between the polymers P2 and TiO2. Electrochemical and photophysical studies reveal band gap of these copolymers are range from 1.7-1.85ev, which indicated that they may be promising candidates for solar cells.
