Preparation of gold nano-arraied electrode on silicon substrate and its electrochemical properties: Probe into biosensor based on electroluminescence of porous silicon

Gold nano-particles of different sizes were synthesized using Frens method, the sizes of product were characterized by SEM and UV-Vis photometer. Nano-arraied gold electrodes were prepared by selfassembled method and investigated by SEM and electrochemical methods. It showes that the electron transfer is blocked after the electrode is covered by the SAM, and gold nano-particles can greatly improve the capability of the electron transfer across the SAM. This result will probably help to study the mechanism of electron transfer across the SAM.
