The translation of the term mancude-ring system (that contains the maximum number of noncumulative double bonds) to Chinese is discussed for the nomenclature of organic compounds. The conversion of Hantzsch-Widman nomenclature system for monocyclic compounds containing hetroatoms to the Chinese version is also suggested.
