Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Bis-Schiff Base Compounds

Abstract

Reaction of (1S,2S)-(－)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane and 1,1 -binaphthyl-2,2 -diamine with 2- phenyl-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxaldehyde, quinoxaline-2-carboxaldehyde and different heterocyclic aldehydes gave a series of bis-Schiff bases compounds 4a～4f, 5a～5c and 5f. The structures of new compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR,¹H NMR, and ¹³C NMR techniques. The structures of 4b, 4f and 5f were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.
