用碱滴定法测定数种隐蔽剂对锰(Ⅱ)和铜(Ⅱ)的水解沉淀反应的隐蔽能力顺序如下:锰:隣苯二酚二磺酸>柠檬酸>酒石酸>乙二胺四乙酸三钠>草酸。铜:酒石酸>柠檬酸>隣苯二酚二磺酸>苹果酸>磺基水楊酸>二缩脲,苦杏仁酸>水楊酸钠>乙二胺四乙酸三钠>盐酸氨基脲>硫脲>硫代硫酸钠。文中尚指出在盐酸羟胺等还原剂共存下,用上述络剂将锰以二价络合物形式隐蔽时的效果好,而且溶液无色。

The relative masking abilities toward the hydrolytic precipitation of manganous and cupric ions of some complexing agents were studied by means of pH titration method.Based on the experimental results, the sequences of the masking effect were obtained as following: for cupric ions, tartaric acid>citric acid>pyrocatecholdisulfonic acid> malic acid>sulfosalicylic acid>biuret, mandelic acid>sodium salicylate>trisodium ethylene diaminetetraacetate> semicarbazide hydrochloride>thiourea>sodium thiosulphate; for manganous ions, pyrocatecholdisulfonic acid>citric acid>tartaric acid> trisodium ethylenediamine tetraacetate>oxalic acid.It is advantageous to mask manganese in the divalent state, in the presence of some reducing agents (e.g.hydroxylamine, hydrazine), rather than in higher oxidation states, because manganese (Ⅱ) complexes are generally colorless.
