本文报道了1,6-醛酮化合物3的选择性保护方法.1,3-丙二硫醇可选择性地保护酮基得5,甲醇可选择性地保护醛基得7.5和7均可转变成2而2是合成青蒿素的关键中间体.

Treating cyclohexanecarboxaldehyde I (R1R2 = R3R4 = O) with MeOH/p-toluenesulfonic acid or CH2(CH2SH)2/BF3譋t2O gave I (R1R2 = O, R3 = R4 = MeO) or I (R1R2 = CH2(CH2S)2, R3R4 = O), resp., both of which could be easily converted to the key intermediate II for the total synthesis of arteannuin.
