本根据堆积模型推测LaCl3(urea)6的实际结构为[LaCl2(urea)6]^+Cl^-, 培养了这一化合物单晶, 进行了结构测定. 本文报道了有关结果.

The crystal and mol. structure of the title compound was determine The crystals are orthorhombic with space group Pna21; a 1.524(1), b 0.922(1), c 1.611(1), d.(obsd.) = 1.79 and d.(calcd.) = 1.83 for Z = 4. The structure was solved by heavy atom method and refined by least squares to R = 0.0333 and Rw = 0.0282 for 2136 reflections. A structure is a distorted antiprism with 2 Cl- and 6 urea coordinated to La. The core packing model was used to explain its mol. structure.
