Apparent partition coefficient (KR) and real partition coefficient (KR0) of some aliphatic alcs. and amines in squalane and stability constants (K1) of adducts between these Lewis bases and Ni{[CH3COCHC(CH3)=CH2]2}.H2O in squalane solution are reported. KR0 Made more contribution to KR. The values of both KR and KR0 increased with increasing C nos. in a homologous series of the bases, but K1 changed reversely. The possible reasons for these changes were discussed.
