A study of the thermal behaviors and the degradation process of 1,1'-dimethyl-5,5'-azotetrazole monohydrate

The heats of formation and dehydration of the title compound (I.H2O) was 1022 and 8.813 kJ mol-1, resp. The melting enthalpy and heat of decomposition of I were 26.85 and 619 kJ mol-1, resp. The activation energy and frequency factor for thermal decomposition of I were 134 kJ mol-1 and 1011.0 s-1, resp.
