Studies on the directional reaction of silver coordination compounds with hydrazine

The directional reaction of hydrazine with several Ag coordination compounds was studied at different acidities and temps. If a trace amount of Cu3+ is present in the reaction system, the 4-electron directional reaction of hydrazine is greatly increased under different pH or temperature conditions. The ratio of 4-electron directional reaction of hydrazine increases with the increasing of pH value or temperature The ratio of 4-electron reaction against log b2 of several Ag coordination compounds is linear in the absence of Cu2+. In the presence of Cu2+, the logarithm of the ratio of 1-electron reaction of hydrazine is proportional to 1/log b2.
