Abstract

Several new complexes were prepared from chiral b-diketones (Ph(F3C)(MeO)CC(O)CH:C(OH)R (R = Ph, 1,2,2,3-tetramethylcyclopentyl (R1)); R1COCH:C(OH)Me; and R1COCH:C(OH)R1) and Eu3+. Their chiral shift capacity were studied, the correlation between chiral shift capacity and the structure of chiral b-diketones were initially studied.
