Four peptides PSPP 1～4, with 21, 17, 13 and 16 amino acid residues in the proper order, were obtained from the bee-collected pollen of Papaver Somniferum after freezed pollen wall-destroyed extraction, desugarization on the strong acid sulfonated ion exchange resin, gel filtration on Sephadex G25 and separation on the cationexchange resin. Their sequences have been determined by Edman degration-N-terminal dansylation. PSPP 2～4 were synthesized using solid phase method and their secondary structures in solid phase and in solutions were studied by FT-IR and CD spectra. The E-rosette and T-lymphocyte transformation tests in vitro showed that they had strong immunopromotive activies.
