Composite molecular sieve Y/MCM-41 was characterized by XRD, SEM, IR and BET methods. The results show that the composite material is different from the mechanical mixture of MCM-41 and NaY. The composite molecular sieve has better hydrothermal stability than the conventionally synthesized mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41.
