About the Cover:On the cover: A novel NIR-responsive upconversion nanoplatform was designed for imaging and controlled drug delivery. The cypate molecules with the feature of auto-sensitized photooxidation under 808 nm irradiation were, for the first time, employed as light-responsive moieties in drug delivery system. The nanoplatform loaded with antibiotic ofloxacin showed on-demand drug release upon 808 nm irradiation and excellent antibacterial effect against Staphylococcus aureus. About the Cover:On the back cover: HCTU/DIEA and DIC/Oxyma systems were utilized at different temperatures to explore the synthetic efficiency of linear WaTx and the oxidative degrees of Met residues for the first time. The rapid folding of WaTx in vitro was achieved by the one-step and the two-step oxidative folding strategies. This article established a fast, robust and safe synthetic method based on DIC/Oxyma, which is particularly useful for the rapid manual synthesis of disulfide bond-containing peptides.
