Iridium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation reaction is one of the most important methods to synthesize compounds of C—C, C—N, and C—O bonds. The recent progresses in iridium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation reactions of carbon-carbon, carbon-oxygen and carbon-nitrogen double bonds are reviewed in this paper.
