报道了2-(2-吡啶)-1,3-丙二醇及其衍生物的一些新反应, 以此得到了一系列新的1,3-二取代2-(2-吡啶)丙烷和3-取代-2-(2-吡啶)丙烯-1-化合物, 讨论了它们的光谱性质.

The title compound (I; R = OH) was treated with SOCl2-pyridine to give 50% dichloropropane I (R = Cl) (II) and 25% oxetane III. Reaction of II with H2NCSNH2 followed by hydrolysis with aqueous NaOH gave 55% allyl mercaptan IV (R1 = SH) and 25% allyl alcohol IV (R1 = OH). Treatment of II with NaCN-DMSO gave 40 and 23% of elimination products IV (R1 = CN, Cl), resp.
