Abstract

Some amines or amides were employed for the synthesis of several aminoalkyl-substituted ferrocence dervatives via improved Ugi reaction. The effects of various factors, such as ratio of reactants, structure of the substrates and reaction temperature were studied, and a reaction mechanism was preposed.
