Several new methods of direct amination for nitroarenes

Abstract

Several new methods of direct amination for nitroarenes were reviewed in this paper, mainly focused on nucleophilic aromatic substitution for hydrogen (NASH) reactions, vicarious nucleophilic substitution (VNS) reactions and direct amination of nitroarenes with hydroxylamine or O-methylhydroxylamine. The mechanism (or model) of the reactions was also introduced.
