A New Synthetic Route of Disulfide Containing Aniline Compounds

A new route was employed to synthesize a known compound, 5-amino-1,4-dihydro- benzo[d]-1',2'-dithiadiene (1), and a new analogue, 9-amino-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-2,3,6,7-tetrathianthracene (2) was successfully synthesized fol-lowing this method. The structures of target compounds and their intermediates have been characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, MS spectra and the structure of 9-nitro- 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-2,3,6,7-tetrathianthracene (10) was determined by X-ray single crystal analysis.
