Studies on organosilicon compounds with biological activity VIII. Study of 1-arylacyloxy-2,8,9-trioxa-5-aza-1-silatricyclo [3.3.3.0[1.5]] undecanes

Nine 1-arylacyloxy-2,8,9-trioxa-5-aza-1-silatricyclo[3.3.3.01,5]undecanes were synthesized by reaction between 1-bromosilatrane and substituted benzoic acids. The crystal structure of I was studied by X-ray diffraction, confirming the 5-coordinated structures of these compounds The intramol. N甋i bond was stronger than that of ordinary silatranes. The 1H NMR and IR of these compounds were studied and the mass spectral fragmentation paths was rationalized.
