Synthesis of Menthyl Esters of N-Benzoxycarbonylaminoacid Using DCC/DMAP

Five menthyl esters of N-benzoxycarbonylaminoacid were synthesized in 90%～94% yields by using DCC/DMAP coupling method in acetonitrile. The starting material amino acids include glycine, DL-methionine, β-alanine, L-valine and L-proline. The data of 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, MS, HRMS spectra and elemental analysis of the target products were reported.
