Synthesis and Ion Recognition of Two Series Dehydroabietylamine- Based Schiff Base Derivatives

Two series of dehydroabietylamine-based schiff base derivatives 2a2f and 4a4e were sythesized by means of arylamine condensation with dehydroabietylamine and degrading dehydroabietylamine, respectively. The compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, MS techniques and elementary analysis. The abilities of ion recognition of the derivatives were investigated and their dependences on structures of the derivatives were also discussed.
