Studies on the asymmetric oxidative coupling reaction of (+)-camphor imine carbanions

Abstract

The paper studies on asym. coupling reaction of (+)-camphor imine carbanions. The ratio of threo to erythro is determine by HPLC of the coupling products and d.e. values of threo isomers are measured to 20 ~ 95% by 1H NMR. A series of factors such as oxidative coupling agents, solvents, bases, which affect coupling reaction have been investigated.
