New progress in the synthesis of pyrane derivatives via multicomponent reactions

Recent development of synthesis of pyrane derivatives via multi-component reactions is reviewed. The reaction time, yields and mechanisms of these reactions under using different substrates are described, and merits advantages and demerits disadvantages of different methods are also surveyed.
